Eid Party for the children and carers at Excel Fostering

As part of the Eid celebrations, in 2016 and 2018, Excel Fostering held an Eid Party, at a Restaurant in Blackburn.

Eid

Eid is a Muslim Festival, occurring a number of times throughout the year, marking the end of the fast of Ramadan.During Eid, Muslims tend to go to the Mosque, visit friends and family offering presents and donate money to a Charity, too.

Bollywood Dancers Blackburn provided by Ri Ri’s

Ri Ri’s Dance Academy are the most exquisite Bollywood Dancers in Blackburn. Dressed in an eastern and western mix, of a stunning, purple, Bollywood hareem dance costume, Ria Meera Munshi, enchanted guests with her dynamic performance. The ten minute dance routine was a taste of Bollywood for the crowd, including a fusion of many of the hit Bollywood songs, such as ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ from the 2015 film, ‘Roy’.

The children in particular were mesmerised by the stunning dancing and were all eager to speak to Ria and get photos with her!

Mini Bollywood Dance Workshop

Ria then invited volunteers on to the stage for a mini Bollywood dance workshop. Girls, boys, men and women all participated, until there was no more room on the dance platform, and lots of smiles, laughter, singing, dancing, cheers and clapping beautifully echoed around the Restaurant room.

The extremely popular track ‘Jai Ho’ by The Pussycat Dolls, was the song which Ria taught the workshop too, as it’s a song which the majority of people recognise and highly catchy if they don’t!

The session ended on a dance high with Indian dance poses for the camera, by the Foster children and Foster parents, who participated in Ri Ri’s Dance Academy’s Bollywood dance workshop.
