Oman Air – Celebrating two years
In June 2019, Oman Air in partnership with Manchester Airport, held a prestigious event at the Museum of Science and Industry. This stunning event was to celebrate two years of Oman Air flying from Manchester to Muskat and had sponsors such as TAJ and LUX Resorts & Hotels.
The evening itself consisted of food, drinks, lots of prizes to be won and, of course, entertainment from Manchester based multi-award-winning and Bollywood Guinness World Record Breaking Ri Ri’s Dance Academy.
Ri Ri’s TV Bollywood dancers
Four of Ri Ri’s national television dancers, including director Miss Ria Meera Munshi, enthralled this amazing and ever so appreciative audience, who had gathered together, in Manchester, from all parts of the world!
Windows to Luxury were kind enough to sponsor both of Ri Ri’s spectacular Bollywood dance performances, for this event and the Academy were beyond privileged to provide their world-class and highly renowned Bollywood dance entertainment.
Bollywood fusion performance
One of Ri Ri’s performances highlighted a Bollywood and break-dancing fusion set, showcased by Ria Meera Munshi and a male break dancer, who has been at the Academy since its inception.
The second performance was a lovely mix of fresh Bollywood hits performed by three of Ri Ri’s female dancers. The amazing hit song, “Rajvaadi Odhni” from the 2019 Bollywood film Kalank, was executed in a Bharatanatayam (Indian Classical) yet modern Bollywood fusion, as a solo number by one of the artists – Simply mesmerizing the audience! This second set was extremely different to the first set as it captured many forms of tradition indian dancing, including Kathak. All female dancers, also, incorporated props into the sequence, in turn making it even more dazzling and charming for all!
And a lovely surprise for all … Ri Ri’s costumes matched perfectly to the décor of the night – Perfect!
