Alumni Achievement Awards

Alumni Achievement Awards 2019

The Alumni Achievement Awards from The University of Salford are highly prestigious. They are presented to former students who have achieved distinction in their profession, who have provided exemplary service to the University or the wider community, as well as those who have achieved greatness in the arts, charities or business sectors.

Ria Meera Munshi

Artistic Director of Ri Ri’s Dance Academy, Ria Meera Munshi, received an Alumni Achievement Award in December 2019 for her exemplary support towards the arts, her local community, for showing great innovation and courage whilst growing her business, Ri Ri’s Dance Academy and for helping to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and artists – Wow, what a brilliant achievement!

Following on from her Bollywood Guinness World Record (2011), her Young Entrepreneur of the Year award (2013), her Proficiency Award for Dance & Leadership (2014) and her Pride in Hyde award (2019), this is Ria’s 5th award!
